Mersen exhibits during next PCIM Europe (Hall 7 - Stand 312) the international tradeshow for Power Electronics.
In the last two months Mersen has strengthened its position as a global provider of Solutions for Power Management.
In the field of laminated bus bars Mersen is now a global leader through the acquisition of Idealec with customer portfolio extension, addition of new innovative solutions, increase of technical expertise. Idealec is well recognized as designer and manufacturer of laminated bus bars.
In the same time Mersen makes a strategic investment in Silicon Carbide (SiC) semiconductor technology by acquiring 49% of CALY Technologies. Through this investment Mersen is expanding its portfolio of over-current, surge protection and current limiting products.
Mersen has announced also the signing of a purchase agreement for the acquisition of FTCap, which specializes in the development and production of capacitors. The operation will enable Mersen to broaden its current range of high-speed fuses, cooling devices and laminated bus bars to capacitors, all of which are key components in the design of efficient, high-performance power electronics systems.
